Blackbird Advisors is led by managing member Matt Mummert.

 

Matt is a graduate of Long Island University and Brooklyn Law School, Magna Cum Laude accolades and recipient of a Watson Fellowship. Matt played Division I soccer for the LIU Blackbirds(inspiration for the firm name) and captained the team his junior and senior seasons. 

 

In addition to his duties with Blackbird, Matt is the Sr. Manager of Real Estate, at Scout Motors Inc., leading the real estate efforts of the pioneering, reborn, American SUV and truck brand. Previously, Matt was the head of real estate at HelloFresh, the largest grocery delivery company and meal kit provider in the US. Before these roles, Matt spent 7 years working for Milsmith Real Estate Advisors and Samco Properties.
